The Fort Lauderdale Fleet of Denison Yacht Sales

The 57th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will open tomorrow, seeing hundreds of yachts alongside hundreds of industry insiders gather together for one of the biggest showcases of yachting magnificence in the calendar.

Amidst the most impressive vessels on display from the 3rd – 7th November in the world’s biggest luxury marine show, is the Fleet which features over 40 new and returning superyachts. Here’s our low down on their five most exciting must-sees along the dock this year.

Cheers 46
The largest of the Denison collection in show is 2014, Cheers 46. A Benetti Veloce 140, this magnificent boat is a semi-custom yacht with a hull designed by Pierluigi Ausonio Naval Architecture Studio and the Azimut Benetti Research and Development Centre. Making an appearance for sale this year, the five staterooms of the boat are all en-suite, with highlights including the tropical light-grey stain Kato wood interior and colossal on-bow entertainment area with pool.

Built by Kingship, in collaboration with Dutch Naval Architects Vripack, boasts five staterooms and an elegant yet contemporary interior after an upgrade 2014. Captivating decor is the story throughout, where a sophisticated mix of Italian furnishings and eye-catching Oriental art are finished with an exterior paint job with Navy Blue hull and Matterhorn White superstructure. Large deck spaces provide the perfect back drop for alfresco dining and make Star one of the most competitive 40m on the market.

Built by Cheoy Lee and launched in 2003, Namoh represents one of yachting’s great ownership opportunities. With an appealing combination of both sheer volume and unprecedented style designed by the Dutch hand of Frank Mulder, the main salon is a firm favourite for hosting and is complemented with an inviting sky lounge to maximise outdoor appeal. Major changes to the interior fabrics, carpeting and artwork earlier this year have prepared her well for FLIBS.

Azimut 85
Since her delivery in 1999, Azimut 85 has spent the last few years cruising the Mediterranean. Coming back to her home in Miami; her owners and Denison bring her to FLIBS for sale. Included is a 2008 385 Williams Jet Tender making the perfect edition to this 80-90ft Fly Bridge Motor Yacht. On the inside a light, airy and inviting saloon awaits, whilst the sophistication of the owner’s stateroom is perfectly blended with an excellent use of space.

Undergoing various customizations and changes since 2007, Silvana is an enviable example of the best-selling Horizon E82 motor yacht. Including a compete refit, every system and interior on board is finished to the highest specification. The covered teak deck has ample dining space for entertaining whilst on the inside; understated elegance is created by the contrast of rich satin finished Makore wood and neutral stone work and furnishings; a must see.

This is just a short insight into the huge Denison Yacht Sales , including superyachts such as the 203′ Benetti Mine Games, the 156′ Trinity Themis, the 190′ Abeking & Rasmussen Lady Sheridan and other incredible vessels ready to capture the attentions of the entire Fort Lauderdale Boat Show from C Dock to X Dock.

One week later, Project Jupiter emerged from the yard to showcase a truly unique exterior stretching over 123 metres of flowing lines and unorthodox features.

Only 2 days later, another yacht estimated to be well over 100 metres – widely reported as 130 metres – was visible for only two days; however, details are yet to be confirmed about the identity of the top secret project and remain speculative. Watch the full video by DrDuu here.

Besides the delivery earlier in the year of the 156 meter yacht , as well as the first look at Project Mistral and the announcement during the Monaco Yacht Show about the possible enlargement of the Lürssen group with the , 2016 has become a remarkable year for the builder.

Furthermore, Refit has become a core business for Lürssen. During the last winter 8 yachts between 40 and 110 meters have used the Lürssen facilities for modifications and maintenance works. Amongst them are some of the world’s most beautiful yachts such as Phoenix², , Radiant and .

The prolific activity of Lurssen Yachts within the Top 100 sector is continuously changing the largest yachts list, and we look forward to bringing you regular project updates, as and when they emerge.

FLIBS Showcase: A Closer Look at the Westport 130

Westport Yachts is heading to the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show with a number of exciting superyachts; however, with a range of models on display, we pinpoint our focus on the production builder’s stunning 40 metre (130 ft) tri-deck ahead of tomorrow’s superyacht showcase.

Those walking the docks of Fort Lauderdale will most likely be aware of the North West-based brand Westport; however, after its debut in 2001, the Westport 130 has become a firm favourite in the eyes of qualified visitors stepping on board.

Since its launch, the has brought owners across the water in style and safety, with comfort levels worthy of a much larger superyacht and space to match. The 40m tri-deck continues in the 130 tradition with exceptional luxury, convenience, reliability and performance that is the Westport standard.

The precision and control of the entire construction process defies the production builder’s nature, and adds a fully custom feel to the on board experience. The exceptional craftsmanship, five-stateroom arrangement with on-deck master stateroom, large salon, dining room and expansive deck areas further the feeling of being on board a much larger yacht, and enhances the entire experience of cruising.

Able to accommodate ten guests, the naval architecture by William Garden and exterior styling by Taylor Olson and Westport Yachts creates a stable, spacious and stylish home on the water which reflects the classic, and sophisticated American superyacht lifestyle of Westport Yachts.

AMELS 212 New Build Superyacht Project Sold

AMELS and Fraser Yachts has today announced the sale of a new 67.10 metre (220ft) AMELS 212 construction project from the Limited Editions range.

Customised with an extended Main Deck aft and a large Beach Club, eye-catching AMELS 212 design will wrap around a Winch Design interior concept and is due for delivery in 2019.

Antoine Larricq of Fraser Yachts Monaco represented the Owner in the purchase of the project. The Owner is a long-standing repeat client of Fraser Yachts. This is Mr Larricq’s second AMELS project sold in 13 months.

Antoine Larricq commented, “I am extremely proud to have signed another new construction project with AMELS. The shipyard has proven its ability to adapt the 65-metre Limited Editions to the client’s wishes, with a shorter building time and an extended transom accommodating a beach club with spa area. I would like to thank our Client and his Captain for an enjoyable long term collaboration. I look forward to a continuing positive and constructive relationship with the AMELS team.”

VF Yachts, the in-house Project Management division of Fraser Yachts, will undertake the Project Management of the vessel and has been working closely with the Owner and the AMELS Project team to finalise the design, based on the Owner’s experience from his previous vessels.

“This sale highlights the enduring value and top quality of AMELS Limited Editions yachts,” says AMELS Sales Manager Rose Damen. “With the proven naval architecture and engineering already in place, we can start steel-cutting straight away and she will be delivered in less than 3 years.”

The new project will be the fourth AMELS 212 built. In 2011 AMELS delivered the first AMELS 212, Imagine, whose Owner was also represented by Fraser Yachts and became Infinite Shades after being sold by Fraser Yachts earlier this year.
